Delivery Information

Next-Day Delivery

We offer deliveries to the whole of the UK. Our standard delivery cost covers most of UK mainland, although not parts of northern Scotland. If you live in Northern Ireland, on an island or north of central Glasgow or Edinburgh we ask you to get in contact with us on 020 7224 9300 or send an email to shop@totallyswedish.com to arrange for your delivery. This is because these areas are subject to a higher delivery cost and often require two days or more to deliver.

Our standard delivery cost is £6 and this is free on orders over £65. If you order any chilled or frozen products a £2 cost will be added to cover for freezing supplements.

If you place your order between Monday and Thursday before 1pm, it will arrive the next day. If you place it between 1pm on Thursday and 1pm on Monday it will arrive the following Tuesday. In the case of Monday Bank Holidays it will arrive on the following Wednesday instead. Please also be aware that the webshop will be closed for some time over Christmas and New Year - more information and opening hours will be available in November.

Regarding delivery time, we have no say on when the delivery will be made as we use an external courier company. However, on the morning of the delivery you will get an email, and a text if you have left a mobile number, with estimated delivery time. The courier will give you a one-hour time slot and this cannot be changed. If you will not be in to receive your parcel/s then please let the courier company know, via the link in the text or e-mail from them, of a safe place they can be left (e.g. with neighbours, behind bins, by front door etc.). If you do not do this and you are not in to sign for your delivery the courier will not be able to come back until earliest the next working day.

As a small company, we do not have access to freezing vans. Instead we do our very best to keep chilled and frozen products in the right temperature by packing them in polystyrene boxes or chilled envelopes and by adding freezing supplements. However, we can only guarantee that they arrive chilled the day after it has left our shop with a next-day delivery and thus changing the delivery date is done at your own risk.

Regarding frozen products – although we do our very best to keep them in the right temperature, as mentioned above, we cannot guarantee that they will not defrost during the delivery. Please be aware of this when placing your order.

Furthermore, please be aware that if you have placed a large order it is likely to have been packed in more than one parcel and if so the parcels may be delivered at different times. This is due to our courier company’s system and therefore unfortunately we cannot change this arrangement. If this is the case you will receive two emails/texts with different delivery times, for which you will need to be in; alternatively inform the courier of a place where they can leave the parcels. Please be aware that if you ask them to leave one parcel in a safe place this will affect all parcels in your order.

We are trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible by re-using both boxes and packing material.

Urb-it

We now offer a flexible same-day delivery in collaboration with Urb-it. This is currently only available in zone 1 in London and the delivery cost is £12. This service offers a selection of our products and to place this order you need to do it from their website.
