Strawberry Birthday Cake
App 20 pieces
4 egg
5 dl sugar
6 dl flour
2 tsb baking powder
2 dl luke warm water,
Garnish/filling:
Vanilla custard, bananas, strawberries and/or jam.
1. Whip the egg and sugar to a fluffy mix. Add flour, baking powder and water. Pour the mix into a greased and dusted baking tin bake at 175°C/350°F/Gas mark 5 for about 60 minutes. Check that the mix is dry in the middle before taking it out. If it's browning too much, put a little tinfoil over.
2. When the cake has cooled down, divide into two or three layers. Add crushed strawberries or banans and some vanilla custard in between the layers.
3. Decorate with whipping cream and strawberries.
