The cocoa beans from which this chocolate is made comes from sustainable plantations in Ecuador. The workers get a fair pay without a middle man.The beans are peeled, roasted and ground in Umeå in a low temperature to preserve the nutritients and flavour. The added flavour is the plant Garden Angelica/Archangel and is handpicked in Västerbotten in Norrland. Put the chocolate facedown on the tounge and let it melt, then chew the seeds to allow the ethereal oils to be released and enjoy the experience. The plant on the front is painted by a German botanist in the 19th century. Milk free, gluten free, nut free and soy free. Vegan!
