This steak dish served with leeks and oyster sauce is a delicious meal perfect for a mid week meal or dinner party. Top tip: Make some extra, because this dish is perfect for the lunch box!
Elk Roast Steak With Leeks and Oyster Sauce

Ingredients :      Serves 2 - 3
500 g Elk steak, cut in to same size chunks
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tsp white pepper, finely ground
1 tsp salt
1 clove of garlic
100 ml oyster sauce
500 ml water
1 leek, sliced (about 200 ml)
1 tbsp corn starch
Rice, to serve
Parsley, to serve
Sesame seeds, to serve

Method:
Cut the meat into fine strips and fry in the vegetable oil. Season with salt and white pepper.
Add the chopped garlic and fry until it softens.
Add the oyster sauce and water and simmer for about 20 minutes. Add the dressing mixed with a little cold water.
Add the leeks and stir. Let it simmer quickly and get hot, it should be slightly crispy. Serve with rice and parsley, and top with a sprinkle of sesame seeds (optional.)
